For the 2011-2012 season GingerBread Lane will be staying in downtown Pittsburgh and moving to historic Station Square. The 140 square feet layout will again return The M.I.N.T., the underground subway station, and also will feature two bridges to connect the elevated portions of GumDrop Row. Also new in 2011, a new technique to make the trees will allow the trees to not only be their tallest but appear to look more like authentic evergreen trees. Also debuting in 2011 will be latte flavored chewing gum, allowing us for the first time ever to have brownstone buildings in GingerBread Lane, most prominently The Plum Pudding Hotel.
Our very popular build your own gingerbread house workshop will return in early December on a date to be disclosed later, and of course our ever popular gingerbread house give away will take place on January 8th, 2012.
